The beginning of the end of free access open models. Their end goals, all AI companies mixed, is to regulate AI so hard that we cant self host no more, so that we can sell our souls forever to the AI overlords which is planned to replace us.

Once chaos starts, they will retreat in their self sufficient bunkers, let AI clankers and drones to clean up chaotic citizens, until population has shrinked enough for the pedophilic elite to start living their dream life in the world they will have stolen from us.

Too bad i extracted everything, from files to photos, from Proton because it was desastrously slow for my needs, now im self hosting everything and wont need it anymore.

I still pay for the whole suite because sharing files in professional contexts through Proton is great and fast. Also VPN, Pass and Wallet are very useful. Wish Lumo was included in the suite though.

I dont think everyone realized how insane this situation is.

A state-level, lateral movement driven, platform compromise just got indirectly perpetrated by this company.

Any regular Joe would've been arrested and charged for such a situation (Im being polite with the word situation).

The stress, the utter confusion the staff at HF must have felt, not knowing who or what could be doing all these manoeuvers at the speed of light, is just a security nightmare becoming true.

What is the next step? Doing blog posts to raise their image and maybe get investments is downright wrong and disgusting.

As much as i hate this, CSAM sharing accounts are a real problem, and they keep making more and more.

I wonder what else could be used to counter this ? Device IMEI auth? Im sure we can come up with better than ID verification, which will ultimately make me leave the platform, not because i have something to hide, but because the precedent it sets is dangerous and WILL lead to leaks and breaches.

I totally agree with you. I cant sit and watch tv and never have been able to. I think we need to go to more person to person interactions. We never needed phones, it just became "essential" because everyone wanted one after someone else got one, it was the "new shiny thing", but it only served as the catalyst for our own prisons.
