Just under 13 years ago. She died on June 26, 2011 due to a stomach ulcer, she lived to the age of 13 spending her days with her long time friend Michael Hingson, she had won the Dickin Medal and American Hero Dog of the Year 2011 and had been recognised by many other services animal groups.
