And if you eat that, and then eat the right kind of flower... Holy crap, my dude, shit gets wild.

My experience tells me that if you eat it, you'll spend the next several hours vomiting. Your friends who also ate it will go out dancing and have a fabulous time.

it's better to decarboxylate it so you don't have the poison but only the good stuff. I've tried to trip with them once

FellowEnt@sh.itjust.works · 1 pts · 2y (1 reply)

You weren't tempted to try the reindeer piss method?

olutukko@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2y

I am a crazy bastard but I live in southern finland, no reindeers to try with :( I suppose I could try to catch a deer and see if I could apply the method for that one /s

We're in peak season for them in the southern hemisphere, so it's a bit unusual to see them fruiting in the north. But then I don't know the area, maybe some of them just like to fruit in spring there?

HiddenLychee@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 2y (2 replies)

Definitely weird, several months earlier than the earliest expected month afaik.

Nooodel@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Found the picture when going through my the images from our last holiday, it's from August 2023

HiddenLychee@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 2y

Very cool! Were you going out specifically looking for mushrooms or just happen upon one? I've always wanted to see a real Euro-asian muscaria in person, the nice red guys. Very jealous :)

peetabix@lemmy.world · 10 pts · 2y

While hiking somewhere in Wales, I don't remember where.

OrderedChaos@lemmy.world · 9 pts · 2y (1 reply)

Amanita Muscaria.

Qkall@lemmy.ml · 1 pts · 2y

Deifyed@lemmy.ml · 9 pts · 2y

Careful. Nintendo can sue you for that

Garbanzo@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 2y

Looks like you just missed the frog with a wizard hat who definitely hangs out there
