I assume this will affect escooters as well, a sudden stop of which has been well known to be great for you jawbone...

Are the e scooters not able to move when turned off? Wouldn't it just start slowing down and not immediately block the wheels?

Those would probably also be useful against dickheads with overly loud car stereos
