Indeed a very yellow and beautiful bird. A colleague and me spotted a Yellow-crowned Wagtail the other day, which has a yellow head as well. Didn't have my camera with me unfortunately.
I'd say it's okay. Especially with the R7 there are some pulsing issues at close distances, but for me as a beginner in bird photography it's a great combo. Duade Paton on youtube has some insights on this matter.

It always amuses me that a Grey Wagtail has lots of yellow, but this is a fine reminder that the Yellow Wagtail has even more yellow!

Though these days a mobile phone can be a useful way to address ABC, it's rarely good on birds.
