Is spelling the problem or is it people just don't proof read anything and ensure accuracy. I've noticed a MASSIVE increase in horrid language abilities over the last few years.
The joke is that the genie interpreted it as the letter I rather than the concept of "I" as in oneself.
So, with that interpretation, all the letter I's in the remaining dialogue have been removed, but the character themself has not.
