Why are they "settlers" and not "terrorists" when they are Israeli?

Remember when the Europeans "settled" the new world. Those native Americans were settled out of life and land.

Because settling occupied territories is against the Geneva convention and a way to ethnically cleanse an area.

They are terrorists, cut another corner off the writer-publication's credibility card.

It'd be nice if Israeli police would arrest and charge them with assault, but I guess that's hoping for more civility than Israel is capable of.

In an apartheid state the police/military are there to ensure you don't fight back.

if you complain your a instigator

if you resist your a insurgent / terrorist

if you report your a propagandist

if you accept it, your displaced and the cycle repeats

if you leave, your somebody else's problem now

Ok, but that grammar pains me.

jet@hackertalks.com · 9 pts · 2y (4 replies)

I'm always happy to improve my grammar, how would you phrase the concept?

bluespin@lemmy.world · 19 pts · 2y (2 replies)

Each of those "your"s should've been "you're"

Homonyms my forever foe. I use voice typing, they are a thorn in my side. I need to go full data with no contractions

I think the Israeli have not liked Palestinians for a bit longer than Biden has been anything.

aodhsishaj@lemmy.world · -3 pts · 2y

Why? What role does Joe Biden have in Israel's law enforcement policy?

ThrowawayPermanente@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 2y

Everything wrong in the world is that way because the American president allows it

homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 2y

I’m no expert but I feel like Israel might be doing some damage to its, uh, brand.
