Are there any open source Strava alternatives?

I've found lots of great open source workout tracking apps, but I'm looking for a program that can show me my times on popular segments like certain bike trails, just as Strava does. Are there any free (and hopefully open source) alternatives?

I use OpenTracks for my cycling and running. You can get it from fdroid .

edit: you need a separate app called OSM Dashboard for OpenTracks to visualise your route on a map

Does it have any segment options - to isolate a specific trail/section to show your best times on that section?

I don't think so but you can see your splits by time and distance

I heard of a project ages ago that was stalled. I'd like to help dev one. It'd be interesting work

I don't think there are any with segment options.

Fitotrack also does splits and things.

Segments require harvested user data which most open source apps are against.

Strava is as much of a social network now as a running app.
