Ok, but how true is this actually? I can't find any references to this other than on lemmy or mastodon.

MrPoopyButthole@lemmy.world · 58 pts · 1y (5 replies)

It's obviously not true.

So this is in fact, a low quality lie.

It could be true, if Doritos didn't have people eating the chips in their commercials.

SirSamuel@lemmy.world · 30 pts · 1y

Look on a bag of Doritos.

Do you see a list of ingredients and nutritional value? That's because they are regulated by the FDA

It's not, the community !lowqualityfacts@lemmy.zip just has it backwards. They are low quality lies, but the phrasing of the community makes it seem like it's true statement in a low-quality wrapper.

As true as reality tv.

Doritos also have high structural integrity, being triangles and all.

ogeist@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 1y

That's what gives them the crunch!

You can use them as fire starters too

That’s like that episode of Nathan for You where he opens up a cafe called Dumb Starbucks that sells art exhibit cups that come with coffee inside. Health inspectors shut him down quick.
