If you rinse out your tea cup right after you finish it's easier to clean later

I learned this the hard way many years ago…with a fruit smoothie. It took literal blood, sweat, and tears to fully clean that thing.

Well, yea. If you clean the mug after making the tea then it doesn't have time to stain the cup. Kinda a waste of tea though.
