How did you clean them?
snooting@sub.wetshaving.social · 9 pts · 1y
I soaked them in warm water with some dish soap, then used a soft bristle toothbrush to scrub the residue off.
Then I applied a dab of mineral oil to the ones with exposed threads.

I was going to suggest a toothbrush and then was happy to read that’s what you used.
How long did the process take?
snooting@sub.wetshaving.social · 3 pts · 1y
Oh, maybe 35 minutes or so.
I had 6 razors to clean, and I wasn’t in a hurry.

That's how I do it too. Sometimes, i also use a bit of vinegar to help with the cleaning as well.
TIL that there is a Lemmy community for wet shaving.

I might just buy an ultrasonic cleaner to make it easier. My hope is this would result in less squinty-eyed toothbrush scrubbing.
