lol the local leos back in melbs has a wall of shame too (usually about 8 piccys from cctv). Feel sorry for the staff as they're all kids and the thieves are pretty much 30+ which would be intimidating.
In Victoria we have different laws for privacy with or without audio, I don't think it's unlawful unless the person wishes to take them for VCAT for a false accusation.
It would fall under libel, meaning that they would have unlawfully besmeared your character if they are unable to provide solid proof.
96 tram stop, bogan woman called me a mong for feeling a little intimidated by her poorly trained pitbull . I did a double take, like, do people still say that?
I had the opposite once on the 109 on Vic. street. Big junky with a huge pitty got on and sat down in front of me. Driver yelled out he wasn't going anywhere if they didn't get off. Whole time doggo was just licking my hand getting pats. Obviously if it changed its mind things wouldn't have turned out well but it was very well behaved.
Hot today. It would be great if you could all refrain from burning things, crashing cars, locking kids/pets inside cars, or doing anything else that forms a risk to life or property.
Suggestion: ditch the bra. Significantly more comfortable. I did a whole day's fieldwork without one on under a work shirt, and it was glorious not having a sweaty garment tightly pasted to my chest area. Reduced underboob sweat is worth everything.
Doing the Jurassic World exhibition today. I bought tickets before I checked the temperature so we're doing that first thing and then I think we'll go straight home
What on earth is this weather doing?! Random bursts of rain, sun being utterly indecisive, random cool gusts... Not complaining though. I might actually finish this entire stretch...
Heroic effort to catch up after wasting yesterday (and most of this week). The energy for this coming week has been spent but I managed to deal with a fair bit.
Thereโs still mountains of folding and the carpet has still not been vacuumed but I just hit up anything that was necessary right now, smelled, or could attract bugs.

Lol I thought Mr P was hosing the window to be funny, looked out whilst laying in bed and bright blue sky with.. rain. Looked interesting looking up into it.
I encountered them a few years ago at Fairhaven beach thinking they were harmless (but annoying) sand flies. I was covered in bites all over my body, so horrible. Have not gone back to that beach since!
Still not too hot outside. Been at it from 6:45 (would've liked to start earlier but this is the best I could do). Let's see if I can make it to 1pm. Fucking temps reaching maximum at 5pm is ghastly
Heck yeah finished up at 2:30, did a full day's work including half hour lunch break and didn't manage to get too overheated. Left when it was about 33-35C. Nearly finished the section, rest is easy to do tomorrow... then the whole area will turn green on the app and look beautiful ๐คฉ
Swung by Laguna on the way home to grab some frozen tempeh (cos I've been craving it for a while) and yellow noodles (really craving a nice greasy mee goreng which will be dinner). But first I need a late lunch which will be rice with a bit of left over veg and a quick dal curry. I am going to make sure I have enough space for the glorious mee goreng though.
Can't wait to make the tempeh later this week. It's the goat of all vegetarian protein
Nah, the whole temperature controlled incubation chamber is a bit of a drag to get right. Thermostat, esky, electric blanket, baking trays was my solution but it wasn't great.
Iโve been filling the wildlife water super quickly each night and didnโt see the level so went out to double confirm the water is topped up for todayโs scorcher. (And do an extra water of the flowers.) Iโd hate for it to run dry from a tiny missed hole again.
Then I see the heavy little dish that had been weighing down the foil pan is goneโฆ
Go back on the tape and some extremely odd acting guy has come inside the property line, stolen it out of the water pan, dropped it in the dirt and kicked it alongโฆ then picked it up again and taken off with it.
What the actual fuck man. I swear the people here are cooked and steal just to steal.
Let me just open this pack of ready to eat curry and add some baked chicken to it and microwave with rice. Oh too much chili oil I need to remove some. Only two pieces of potato? Gotta boil one. No veggies! Let me boil some green peas. And then cook them all a bit together. Better add some extra seasoning.
So the brachiosaurus right at the start of the Jurassic World exhibition scared the boys, but they were fine with the raptor and the scary part with the T.rex at the end. I think they were surprised to see dinosaurs to start with and then got into it
The heat and the public holiday got me, slept all day. Gonna do what I need to do and try the old sleep tablet quarter again tonight. I need to be up for phone calls and telehealth tomorrow. -_-
I was gonna get onto the folding today but not sure if I have the energy.
Saw a shriveled male and female flower pairโฆ pulled the male one open and tried to open up the female to hand pollinate - the female flower came off in my hand. DOH. If that flower didnโt already get fertilised the little zucchini will wither and die.
No flowers on the others. I wonder how much the heat and probably too small pots are stressing these plants.
Bulleen Art and Garden used to (not bags, but will deliver with a truck. You buy how many sq m you need, they scoop it from bulk area and deliver it to you). Not sure if they still do it, havenโt been there in a while.
I definitely used it back in 2019, I hope they still do now as it was one of their big selling points. Had a whole heap delivered to sharehouse driveway and carted it to the back to engage in extensive planting. (Man, those were the days when I used to do so much more...)
I think Bunnings co-ordinates (???) delivery of 1m square bags of stuff. From an outside supplier I think. Certainly mulch, but might do other stuff too. Is that the sort of fing you are thinking of?

I definitely used it back in 2019, I hope they still do now as it was one of their big selling points. Had a whole heap delivered to sharehouse driveway and carted it to the back to engage in extensive planting. (Man, those were the days when I used to do so much more...)

Nah, can get a truck easily, it's specifically the bags we're after.

I think Bunnings co-ordinates (???) delivery of 1m square bags of stuff. From an outside supplier I think. Certainly mulch, but might do other stuff too. Is that the sort of fing you are thinking of?
