I'm very thankful I am outside of the new AML laws, but the business I do contract work for has to comply and I was told to complete AML training before EOFY with a couple days' notice. And for no pay as well, how nice.
Trialling a new co-working space today and it is so QUIET. People in here are just doing their work and not disrupting others. I already love it here, also closer to home. It's much less corporate feeling than the current place, more rough around the edges, no bubbly water on tap, kitchen's a bit grubby but that's fine. Will wait to the end of the day to make a decision but I am so keen for a change up. There's also an office cat which is another huge plus. I'm not sure he likes me yet but I will win him over.
Doing pharmacy roulette today trying to find prescribed medication in stock. Chemist Warehouse made me wait a good 20 minutes just to tell me no stock. Went to two other places, no stock or about to expire. Finally lucked out and found it on the 4th attempt. Waiting in busy pharmacies just triggers a stress response in me.
This just looks like any other new build in a upper-class area, extremely boring. And I'm guessing some heritage home was knocked down so we could have this beauty? Money doesn't buy taste.
Having lined parking spaces in your own garage, what a luxury
There’s a guy I see here and there at the gym, he has an intellectual disability and a support worker who helps him load machines etc. He’s spoken to me a few times.
This group of teenage boys were staring at him working out on a machine (the form isn’t great but at least he’s doing something while they just laugh at him and sit around on their phones barely doing any working out). And then they mocked the way he walked and all laughing at that. Disgusting behaviour to witness.
Holy crap just had a loud BANG out of nowhere after it had been raining and storming in the distance for 30 mins, flash warning only seconds before, my entire house vibrated. I jumped like I was watching a horror movie.
Got a big viet coffee with my banh mi to power my afternoon after a shit sleep last night. Got a few work tasks I want to knock out today. Let's do this.
God this movie dragged. The last 30 or so minutes were good but it didn’t make up for the snoozefest middle. Style over substance.
Project Hail Mary
4.5/5
Went into this blind knowing nothing about the story. Not sure I would have watched if not for the DT praise but so glad I did. Absolutely loved it. I laughed, I shed a tear, I was on the edge of my seat, it had it all.
Have you seen the TV series? As someone who hasn’t read the books, interested to know how it compares.
Misty train home

That’s awful, I’m so sorry to hear that 😢
Amazing! Congrats

It’s fresh outside. 2 degrees tonight 🥶
Yes! Hope this role is better than the last for you.
Love a good Footscray excursion day. Nhu Lan for banh mi lunch.
Finally home. Office day + event after work. And then to top it all off, they shut the metro tunnel for night works so extra long journey home 😴
Ain’t no better feeling than getting into comfy home clothes after a long day.

Skies darkening rapidly where I am

That site is dangerous, I've learned to limit how often I visit there. I could go a scotch deal though.
