Ist das gleiche Problem wie in Version 0.27.4, einfach "Retry" drücken bis das Video da ist. Ist schon auf GitHub reported.

It's worst under a VPN. Eventually, I can get it to initiate a download. 5 to 10 attempts v. 2-3 without a VPN. 🤔

Vielleicht noch gut zu ergänzen, dass die Version über das NewPipe Upstream Repo installiert werden kann, welches man in F-Droid ergänzen kann. Hier der Link:

Dort bekommt man i.d.R. schneller Updates.
