BuboScandiacus@mander.xyz · 3 pts · 1y

This is pure excellence

jeena@piefed.jeena.net · 11 pts · 1y (1 reply)

I just shoot the picture myself with the phone camera.

Rai@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 4 pts · 1y

Saaaame but all of mine are of my cats.

jet@hackertalks.com · 9 pts · 1y (1 reply)

For a new phone, I put it on a table, and take a photo of black, then I set it as my wallpaper.

deus@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 1y

Came here to say the same. Solid black is the best wallpaper.

I just go to the Sailor Moon Scenery Tumblr and switch things out when I want a change: Link

I like dark wallpapers. Mostly I browse !thenightfeeling@lemmy.world for something I can crop to something interesting.

Backdrops is usually my go-to. I also used Tapet happily for a long time.

sabreW4K3@lazysoci.al · 3 pts · 1y

Thanks for this.

anowhere@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 1y

Tapet is great for generating and tweaking unique wallpapers, with user defined color palettes and effects.

Anafabula@discuss.tchncs.de · 5 pts · 1y

Pixiv mostly

Found mine on https://wallhaven.cc/, but it's been a while, I just transfer it each time I change phones

Stomata@sh.itjust.works · 4 pts · 1y (5 replies)

I don't know I find randomly. I do share them on mobile wallpaper Lemmy community

Blaze@lemmy.zip · 5 pts · 1y (4 replies)

There is one? What is it?

Lazycog@sopuli.xyz · 5 pts · 1y (1 reply)

I've been using !mobilewallpaper@lemmy.world, not sure if there are others

Blaze@lemmy.zip · 3 pts · 1y

Thanks!

Stomata@sh.itjust.works · 4 pts · 1y (1 reply)

There is a lot of people but feels like I'm the only one sharing.

Blaze@lemmy.zip · 4 pts · 1y

You can maybe try promoting it on !newcommunities@lemmy.world

RoomTempCoffee@lemmy.cafe · 4 pts · 1y

Usually I'd just do a subreddit URL on imgur, like https://imgur.com/t/spaceporn (it used to be /r/ instead of /t/). But for the last couple years I've just been rotating the Dune book covers on the printings I have that someone on Reddit made textless versions of.

dustyData@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 1y

Mostly pictures I take myself. I dabble on photography and photo editing as a hobby.

My current one I found here on Lemmy. Someone made a post showcasing a screenshot of some discussion around someone who took the iconic Luigi Mangione smile but did a furry version. I had to have it, so I downloaded it and have furry Luigi as my background currently.

Otherwise, it's usually images I find online on art sharing platforms like DeviantArt or FurAffinity.

Been using the Bing Wallpaper and NASA APOD. The NASA one changes every 24 hrs and i change the bing one every 12 hours. I use tasker to set the wallpapers.

Byter@lemmy.one · 2 pts · 1y (1 reply)

There's an app to pull the Astronomy Picture of the Day and set it as a wallpaper

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uk.co.jakelee.apodwallpaper

burgersc12@mander.xyz · 1 pts · 1y

Ok

Bruhh@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 1y

I typically use concept art from my favorite media be it games, movies or shows

ElPussyKangaroo@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 1y (2 replies)

I go to unsplash.

LiveLM@lemmy.zip · 2 pts · 1y (1 reply)

Same. Filter by portrait and go.
Sucks that the filtering only works on search results, sometimes they feature some cool collections on the homepage but you can't filter those because...???
I also liked it better when Unsplash+ wasn't a thing

ElPussyKangaroo@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 1y

Yeah. I like the collections but i wish they had a bulk download option... atm it's very tedious downloading them one by one

limerod@reddthat.com · 3 pts · 1y

I use Backdrops, Wallcanic walls, One4wall. I also search and apply whatever interesting wallpaper I may find on the internet.

HarbingerOfTomb@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 1y

Google

jacktherippah@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 1y

Theres an app on Play Store called Backdrops. Beautiful wallpapers. Highly recommend. The Pro version is 5$.

trilobyte81@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 1y

I use wallpaper engine, I use it for my desk top also

Apollo2323@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 2 pts · 1y

Tumblr

ladfrombrad@lemdro.id · 2 pts · 1y

I have no idea where it got Andraiod daydreams from but thought I'd make you a nice personal AI wallpaper 😇

On a serious note though before peeps rip me a new one for even suggesting AI images?

Muzei is still pretty cool to this day, Xiaomi theme thingy has some probably knocked off images that I'm currently using, and even just searching for something when I'm that bored enough to actually change my wallpaper.

pewgar_seemsimandroid@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 2 pts · 1y

searching on the internet.

HipsterTenZero@dormi.zone · 2 pts · 1y
