It's the best weather app I've ever used as I can choose details to see but above all you can choose the weather provider that gives you the most correct weather forecast for your location.
I would advise against direct awakening for a teenage brain. A strong sense of the "self" is important to develop and nurture in the first years. Weakening that will not be beneficial in the long run for that individual.
The app itself has Sam interviewing established meditation teachers. There are courses from these meditation teachers. Lectures/talks. Tons of guided meditations all divided into different categories/flavors.
The purpose of all this is to help towards awakening but it can also be used as "just meditation support".
For a teenager with anxiety i would rather recommend CBT (cognitive behaviour therapy) which I myself have done for anxiety. It really helped a lot!
Good luck! ❤️
IMHO, just see through the whole illusion instead. End the suffering. See that it's all based on false assumptions.
Try Sam Harris app "Waking Up". Check out "the ten fetters". If any of those things ring true to you, you're in a good way.
Don't take my word for it. Don't take Sams word for it, or Kevins. This is all done by yourself, for yourself. You will know if it's bullshit or not.
In northern Europe this is correct. HR is absolutely the employers/Companys/organisations tool. They may be helpful if they see a manager is actually harmful to the employer/company, but that is rarely the case unless the manager has done something actually forbidden and it is documented.
As an employee you're far better off contacting your union representative.
I said it in the other thread and I find it worth saying it again.
Who the fuck wants to hang out with someone who knows exactly what they're doing anyway?
So fucking boring people. Never experienced shit.
Well that would be the physicalism/materialism hypothesis. Truth is we don't know. That's why it's called the "Hard Problem of Consciousness"
The scientific and philosophical communities are split into a few major camps:
Physicalism / Materialism: They believe consciousness is an emergent property of complex biological computation. Just like "wetness" emerges when you put hydrogen and oxygen together, consciousness emerges when you network enough neurons. (Though critics argue wetness is still just physical behavior, while consciousness is a whole new dimension).
Idealism / Non-Dual Perspectives: This flips the script entirely. Instead of consciousness being a product of the brain, the brain (and the whole physical world) is an appearance within consciousness. In this view, you don't have a conscious brain; the brain is a conceptual map appearing in the wide-open space of prior awareness.
Panpsychism: The view that consciousness is a fundamental building block of the universe, like mass or electrical charge, and complex brains simply channel or organize it rather than creating it from scratch.
You could just work on "first shift", or what in Buddhism is called Fetters 1 and 2. Seeing through the self delusion. No woo-woo required and it's the first stepping stone. But a big one.Just realizing there is no "me" here, and never has been, helps a lot.

Aren't we like 38000 years ahead of that thing? Oh, and Praise the omnissaiah!
Tivimate is THE app for IPTV on Android. But it seems providers are scarce in the US so regardless of software that is a problem.
Is IPTV piracy just a European thing then?
