This plus the perfect monitor rotation (22°) makes for peak efficiency.

nice password you fave there. looks secure 👌

keep it safe

MajorHavoc@programming.dev · 4 pts · 1y

Crap. I wish people wouldn't put my password on their monitors after I ask them to stop.

Amature, I have 2 ultra wides at 45 degrees each, creating a V shape

Xuderis@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 1y (1 reply)

45° being suboptimal is actually covered in the article!

MTK@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 1y

It cancels out once you have 2 at opposite ends

Classy@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 1y

22° assumes a specific aspect ratio. Assuming this monitor has an aspect of 9:32, the angle would be much smaller. Though I'm not sure how to calculate it lol. It looks like it's probably closer to 15°

Unlike buffalo, there is no law saying you can't have an infinite hierarchy of higher-order FactoryFactories producing lower-order FactoryFactories

And it s hows... Excel. 🤦

SreudianFlip@sh.itjust.works · 5 pts · 1y (1 reply)

Good point. I hope it rotates to vertical orientation!

Sylvartas@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 4 pts · 1y

That would be one hell of a telescopic stand

expr@programming.dev · 3 pts · 1y

Think about how many columns you can fit!

pseudo@jlai.lu · 8 pts · 1y

And you open Excel...

I really would like such a wide monitor with double the height. I need a view a lot of documents next to each other. It's annoying to scroll down all the time.

JudahBenHur@lemm.ee · 2 pts · 1y (2 replies)

thats onaa them tv's

nichtburningturtle@feddit.org · 2 pts · 1y (1 reply)

TVs aren't made to be viewed closely, like a monitor is. This will result in a blurry image.

JudahBenHur@lemm.ee · 1 pts · 1y

fair enough
