A Sliders reference in 2025? What a blessed day.

I just mentioned rewatching Sliders and you're already on episode three.

How do you expect me to keep up? I've got a life, dude

I just got the idea after nabbing a gif for the Holo Da Vinci post. But now that you mention it...

"me right when"? Just write out words, Jesus.

"MRW" is an abbreviation of "My reaction when" that became part of known meme formats from back in the heyday of Reddit. I'm simply making use.

TrickDacy@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 1y (1 reply)

Yeah I can never remember all of those. I've never thought those abbreviations made sense. I would write "my reaction when" once every 5 years maybe, so I'd never abbreviate it.

I've found it best not to get too invested into the meaning or origins of "contemporary" humor and just roll with what works.

"Blocked in your country" but I got ya. Sliders was the shit... at least up until Jerry O'Connell left the show. So many loose threads.
