So they're not allowed to talk about reality, or how to make anything better. And the fascists in charge must know this is what they're doing, but they don't care.
I keep thinking of how the Buddha recognized three poisons of the mind: greed, hatred and ignorance. Right-wing politics is pure poison.

I understand why most of these are banned, as they’re trying to remove any rhetoric about pollution or clean energy. But why diesel? Why prefabricated housing? Like what?

This shit is absolutely unreal...
So I guess we're going back to actively speed running the ruination of our planet now.
I hope whatever takes over after us, if there is anything left, notes that humanity's end came at the hands of a very small number of petty assholes who would rather try to kill all life on the planet than admit to being wrong about anything.

“solar energy,” and “geothermal,” as well as “nuclear energy” are all banned.
From now on they are to be referred to as “sun coal” “volcanic coal” and “atom coal”
