I started a few years ago. Sometimes, I had a dream that I wanted to remember and so I started writing it down. I also drew sketches of the places I dreamed about.
In fact, writing about my dreams is how I got into journaling in the first place. It was only a year ago that I decided to also start a "regular" journal.
Do any of you also have a "dream" journal?

I would like to learn to lucid dream as well as to be able to recall more dreams. I understand that writing down dreams in the morning/after waking is best, but I don't have a ton of time in the morning. So I don't get around to keeping a dream journal.
It's about once a week I even have a memory of a dream when I wake up.

Dude I felt like I learned how to lucid dream for like 3 dreams and then promptly forgot. Makes me wonder if it's just dreaming about knowing how to lucid dream.
Good luck in any case

The method that works for me is when I wake up and still have some time left, I try to fall asleep again. If you fall asleep, it'll be a light sleep, that's when you're most likely to have a dream.

Same and I know I dream because when my alarm goes off it usually interrupts them and I get a feeling I was in the middle of something good but I can't remember what exactly

Most of the time, I'll write it down the evening after, because I don't have time in the morning, either. I can usually recall most of the details, so that is not an issue.

It's fun attaching different dreams to different pages and flipping through pages to see what is pulled up. I know some people do that for religious guidance using holy books. :)

I will write down certain noticeable dreams in my journal but I don't have a dedicated dream journal. More often I'll write my impressions after a dream, what I think about it.

I do when I can remember the dream. I either will grab my phone and tap down as quickly as being just awoken as I can, or grab my "random brain dump" notebook / paper. Whichever is closest.
I'll get back to it and copy the writing into a specific dream journal on my phone.
I hardly jot down introspection / review of my dreams though.
