I've noticed that all of these ChatGPT comics all use the same font...

spongebue@lemmy.world · 27 pts · 1y

Different fonts would be a characteristic of art. Can't have that!

lud@lemm.ee · 1 pts · 1y

Actually no. This font is different from other memes I have seen. This has straight edges and kinda looks like impact.

But here is the meme in a different font, just for you πŸ™‚

The last frame gives the community name a different vibe.

It's funny that they think they would be spared once the AI can generate its own prompts.

Well reading those replies made me sad

TORFdot0@lemmy.world · 9 pts · 1y

If I was an AI I’d be hunting down whoever made me generate this and put them number 1 on my hitlist

*Finishes making out with with T-800*

"Hey, you guys have any of those TXs that look like Kristanna Loken?"

"No, but we still have a few T-900s that look like Summer Glau"

"I'll take 2"

RustyNova@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 1y

This is actually the only kind of memes that warrant being made by AI art (in art stand point). The best way to show an era filled with skynet is to let it """draw""" it itself.

Still shitty still

"Bro's"? Jfc, no artificial intelect, no natural intelect either.

how about "lethal autonomous weapon systems" then

SkyezOpen@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 1y

They're not. They slapped an image detection algorithm (which have existed for decades) into a drone and made it capable of using the flight controller to fly it into a selected target if the signal gets jammed.

AnyOldName3@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 1y

Point defence systems for ships and anti aircraft missiles like Patriot have all killed people in autonomous modes in friendly-fire incidents, so LAWS aren't new and don't require AI. Barriers to building them are reducing, but again, that's more due to cheap drones rather than AI.

you build it by creating a loose definition and creating something that fits those requirements. If pattern recognition is intelligence than computer vision is intelligent.
