Disclaimer: I'm not American, I don't live in the US
JD Vance didn't exist in my life before he became vice president. Now, I am aware that I also don't know anything about most vicepresidents in the world. But I've seen a lot of people who are also USA outsiders making comments about him as if implying something else, as if relying on facts everyone ought to know. I get the feeling most people have already heard about him from before and I'm late to the party.
So, what do I need to know, other than his political affiliations? Yes, we all know who the president is and that says a lot, but, is Vance notorious for anything else?

Sometimes I wish I was good with AI so I could make a video of the Trump cabinet looking unsettled as Wonka sings to them in the tunnel scene.

he's a Peter Thiel creation, it doesn't take a lot of research to see this. He's basically been on Peter Thiel's paycheck for like a decade iirc? He's made millions working directly and indirectly for him. It's not even particularly subtle. Thiel made substantive donation to non-profits that existed soley to help get Vance elected etc...
took me like 2 google searches to get to reasonable sources for all that, without Thiel you wouldn't know who Vance was

White supremacist made by neo-nazis in Silicon Valley into the "perfect" politician. One who follows orders and doesn't question. Real spineless piece of shit. Likes to fuck couches. Killed the pope.

he fucked a sofa and wrote about it.

There's not much to it. He's distinctly unlikable, and he's also really easy to meme about.
Ongoing memes that I know:

Adding on to the Pope bit. The Pope snubbed Vance, who is Catholic, initially and sent a bishop to go lecture him on compassion instead of going himself. Vance eventually got a face to face where, and I'm fuzzy on this part, he also lectured him on compassion alongside a photo op. Then died the next day

You should research about Curtis Yarvin and understand that Vance is a follower of his work. There's a good Behind the Bastards two-parter on him.

You could watch the Ron Howard directed biopic Hillbilly Elegy based on his memoirs. I think the director's cut has the couch fucking scene and a few other extras.

If he gets any money from that movie, i would recommend pirating it instead, IF you even want to still watch it...

Lol for real??
Kind of disappointed in Ron Howard for being involved with this.

Haha nah. Doubt there is a director's cut. I have no idea what Ron's politics are. But yeah, they should all feel gross.
