It's not Cannabis, although same family (Cannabaceae), it's Hops! Cascade variety. Planted 5 rhizomes a couple weeks ago.

Take care that it doesn't spread like mine. Had a hard time to limit its growth. But I also love the smell.

It’s got its own little place, I’ve also read about some biannual maintenance like breaking the runners or whatever they are called.

Only one way to figure it out yolo.

I love the smell of hops at the height of summer.

I grew up in a farming town that grew a lot of them and sometimes you could smell almost nothing else on a warm summer breeze.

I live in the Hallertau. Late summer, early autumn when the harvest starts the whole valley smells of it. Love it.

I'm going to echo others warning you to not allow it to spread. It's extremely difficult to get rid off.
