Assuming by ‘us’ you mean Americans, I think a foreign war might actually erode a significant part of Trump’s base.

Honestly dude, I'd love for a war to show up in the US, I'm coming around to accelerationist bullshit, but for the exact opposite reasons.

Question, what is the political difference between killing the head of the army vs killing the head of the country?

I mean obviously there is a difference in importance between the two, but does one count as "part of war" and the other as a political assassination?

Both are liable to get you a declaration of war on your front door if you're not Israel, but one is certainly more provocative.

One counts as a spiritual leader as well which changes the calculus a bit.
