Honestly this is good news for me, please Zuck enshittify WhatsApp as much as you can. This is the only app I can't leave from them because literally my whole country refuses to use anything else than Whatsapp for messaging.
That is the problem, as much as possible is still 0. I already have all the alternatives installed in my phone but I can't use them if there is no one to talk to over there.
No one wants to do the effort to change even if this effort is to spend 5 minutes installing a free app. Why should I change? Then they look at me as Mr. TinfoilHat if I tell them the reasons. My only hope is Whatsapp turning to shit itself.
I dropped WhatsApp as soon as Facebook bought them. Sure it's encrypted but it's owned by some of the same people I want to be protected from by using said encryption.
