I am not talking about the debt of the US, but what the US pays Israel being peanuts compared to the kind of money the US government has.

Russian military deaths in WWI were about a third of what they had in WWII. It is hard to be specific, as it ended up in a revolution with the Soviet Union being created. The Soviet Afghan war, which was part of what ended the Soviet Union had significantly lower causalities then that.

Given the size of the US economy that is peanuts. Bill Clinton managed to pay for Israel and have a balanced budget. The real truth is that the US has cut taxes for the rich. That meant less income and still old levels of spending, hence more debt.

According to a survey carried out in 2025 in the EU, more than 60% of low-value products inspected did not comply with European requirements or safety standards.

That is the difference. If you buy it from an EU based retailer, they will have imported something like a shipping container filled with the same type of product. So you need to basically check for that product once, if it is dangerous or whatever. If you get a bunch of very different products coming in via parcels, that can easily be 1000x more checks being required, which is basically impossible to do.

This is not about punishing China, but to make sure that Chinese sellers are actually following EU laws, when selling their products in the EU.

The ones organizing the best. You can see that with unions, politics and a lot of other things. Falling number of people of working age can be dealt with somewhat by forcing people to work. Any way to fight it or even reduce working time per person, by a shorter work week, earlier retirement or even work day helps. Obviously it also depends on industry and global competition. However it currently looks like the system of globalization is splitting up a bit.

The key part about this is that this is going to shrink the supply of labour faster then the demand. All the old factories and so forth will still be around. So this strengthens the position of workers against the capital. We also will keep a lot of the old infrastructure. In Western Europe, where we have long term financial data going back centuries, there have been two periods of the wealth gap closing. One was after the Black Death and the other after WW2. In both cases there was a lot of death shrinking the labour force.

The other key part is that this is already happening. There was a peak in births in 1990 with 143.5million globally. After that it fell for a bit to then hit another peak in 2012 with 146.1million. Current UN projects are that that will be the peak in the foreseeable future.

This is why the leadership class is talking about birth rates so much. They are worried about their power.

They are water tight, when screwed down properly. You can also reseal them, if you fill something hot into them. In the end mead should be pretty stable thanks to the alcohol.

Not going to happen. As in China benefits a lot from the war. Russia has to sell cheap oil, gas and other natural resources to China and China gets a market, where it does not have to compete with the West. More so Russia took a lot of land from China in the unequal treaties. China might well want that land back. Hell they fought a few small wars over it.
