The 3 on the left look like the same person, just in different poses

Or….short pants and no socks is a successful piece of clothing for warmer weather.

Srsly I’ve seen dudes walk up to the first sale rack in Walmart and grab something. Looks like a group of them just did that. They are probably all gathered talking about how cheap their pants were in that picture.

While in the european metric it would be: dress for the 40's

derfunkatron@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 1y (2 replies)

What? The 90s are equivalent to hot years? Or wasn't there any winter fashion for the 90s? I don't understand I don't get it me dumb

FiskFisk33@startrek.website · 21 pts · 1y (1 reply)

fahrenheit temperatures in the 90s are hot temperatures

Mothra@mander.xyz · 2 pts · 1y

Thought so

EtherWhack@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 1y (5 replies)

That was typical-ish summer wear.

For winter, it was closer to this

Mothra@mander.xyz · 2 pts · 1y (4 replies)

Sure but that doesn't explain the joke to me

pulsewidth@lemmy.world · 9 pts · 1y (3 replies)

"Dress for the 90s" as in temperature. 90F I guess. Because dressing for 90C would be like.. Spacesuits.

Mothra@mander.xyz · 5 pts · 1y (2 replies)

Omg it's a pun... I get it now. I'm not used to fahrenheit temps

Stillwater@sh.itjust.works · 3 pts · 1y (1 reply)

Instead of going by boiling water, we go by 0=cold AF outside and 100=hot AF outside

(This is a joke and I'm not saying its superior to celsius)

Obi@sopuli.xyz · 1 pts · 1y

That is the genuine argument I see people use to defend farehnheit so this checks out.

oops

someguy3@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 1y

Be careful too much radical.

Valmond@lemmy.world · -3 pts · 1y

Celsius is so old fashioned.

yucandu@lemmy.world · -4 pts · 1y (1 reply)

The third guy looks cold, someone should give him some heroin to warm up.

CrazyLikeGollum@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 1y

He should ask the guy on the left. I hear he does it a lot.
