What local, national or international journalism do you support financially?

I have monthly donations going to my local PBS & NPR stations. Planning to start supporting local independent news orgs and perhaps a few online orgs like The Bulwark.

Wikipedia and https://www.propublica.org/ are good Wikipedia just to keep the nightmare of it getting bought by newscorp at bay and pro publica is just some really good investigation journalism in the US.

I donate to the Patreon account of a local independent journalist who covers the city council.

RTÉ, because it's a legal requirement if I own a television.

I support the Center for Investigative Reporting. A lot of their work ends up on the podcast Reveal which I love for its deep dives into areas of abuse and corruption that don't make it to mainstream news.

I've made one time donations to a few investigative outlets.

I used to support The Guardian, but their prices went up, and I don't read it as much as I want to.
