Dexter: Resurrection is really ramping up

Hey has anyone been watching Dexter: Resurrection ?
I found New Blood ok but this new series I am really liking more and more with each new episode.

Especially this latest 4th one, I really feel like the spirit of the old show is back and I'm liking every moment of it !

Really didn't expect this cast btw holy shit.
Peter Dinklage, Krysten Ritter and Neil Patrick Harris were nice to see. Even if neil only played a somehwat small, too cut short part haha

Hopefully the rest of the season continues to be as good.

I'd not thought of watching it but that's a stellar cast

I really recommend it, in episode 1 I wasn't too sure but episode 4 blew me away.

I didn't even know this existed. Also found out about Dexter: Original Sin. I was one of the believers that Dexter should have met his fate and been closed at the end of the original Dexter. I understand the character is a money maker, but he just keeps coming back?

I'll probably check it out anyway to see where it goes. Interesting that you find it enjoyable so I'll give it a shot.

I really liked Orginal sin.

Dude, I found it existed by accident while browsing for shows to watch lol. I was really surprised as well because season 1 of Original Sin had just finished not too long ago.

You know what's funny is that after episode 4 I went and watched some small interviews Micheal C. Hall (Dexter's voice actor) and apparently he is the one who gave the impetus to start Resurrection. I think he asked one of the producers "What if he didn't die ?", it started from there and led to this show.

I haven't seen any of the actors you mentioned and I'm up to date. Not sure how I missed them. But I have seen Uma Thurman which you didn't mention?!

Regardless I agree with the spirit of your post which is the show is good and like the good parts of the original. I'm really wanting to see what happens next.

You must not have seen episode 4 because they are really in your face... ?
And yeah I didn't mention Uma Thurman 'cause we have been seeing her since the start.

Agree 👍

Not sure how you saw episode 4 already. It came out literally today...

I thought from the list you were mentioning actors that weren't obvious like Michael C Hall. I had no idea Thurman was going to be in the show at all until suddenly she was on screen.

Whoops... I wonder how that happened...

Anyway, Thurman was already in episode 1 when she ::: spoiler ‏‏‎ ‎
breaks into ronald schmidt's appartement to give him the invitation ::: and in episode 2 (I think ?) When she ::: spoiler ‏‏‎ ‎
bashes the head of the serial killer Dexter takes the seat of. :::

I realize that about Thurman. Now that I've seen the 4th episode, now that it's actually been released, I saw those other actors that you commented "wow I don't see how you missed them"

Me and my parents are loving it, we just watched all 4 episodes this weekend

Just finished episode 4 (after binging the first three), and I'm really excited for this show.

I don't know the long term plans for this show, but it feels like a final season just full of guest stars and with everything converging.

Bautista hot in the trail. Harrison in trouble. Serial killer society dinners. Dexter being the obvious culprit. I don't know how you would ever top this.

Also I love Eric Stonestreet as a serial killer. I can't wait to learn more about him.
