The problem is that doing anything great requires a lot of sacrifices. Risk to life and limb,broken relationships, broken families, that sort of thing. Journalism isnt different. Wanna report on Gaza? You'll have to live in the area for a good while, maybe even years. Long and unstable hours, lots of stress, possibly shitty pay.
I mean, there's certainly an argument to be made that Rowling's properties should just be abandoned. I get why Harry Potter is popular though. It's a shame that she's such a horrible person.
