How did you know what my bedroom wallpaper is!?

LillyPip@lemmy.ca · 3 pts · 352d

I’m gonna steal it, too. Just to warn ya.

Memes are created to be screenshat and posted to Instagram. /s

I think the only way to stop it is a massive watermark. I have just resigned myself to releasing my creations onto the internet and expecting them to be copied or directly shared.

screenshat

This makes me mildly uncomfortable, but it’s so perfect, the grammar bending is worth it.

lunarul@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 353d

It's not a meme if it doesn't get shared. It's literally the definition.

Skyrmir@lemmy.world · 37 pts · 353d (5 replies)

Love it, but in all seriousness, the Dems need to be on top of election security harder than Trump in a teen age beauty pageant dressing room. Use the districting vote as a test run to make sure everything is locked down.

Bonus@sopuli.xyz · 3 pts · 352d

Will do. Am California. Can confirm.

Stez827@sh.itjust.works · 3 pts · 352d (1 reply)

The amount of election fraud in the history of the United States is not enough to have flipped a single election so it really isn't an issue. Added "security" to elections often means restricting who is able to vote. While that could theoretically cause the demographic which supports the Democrats to have a majority it also suppresses the voices of others who should have as much of a way as anyone else.

Skyrmir@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 352d

I'm not talking about vote security. I mean the election systems themselves. Servers, tabulators and machines. Don't trust any of them without verification. No one is going to move enough fake ballots to flip an election without getting caught. It only takes one person with the wrong access to change server totals and leave no trace.

I thought we weren't doing low effort Reddit comments on Lemmy?

N0t_5ure@lemmy.world · 25 pts · 354d

Please tell me this is real. Assuming not, California is a voter initiative state....

Tylerdurdon@lemmy.world · 21 pts · 353d (4 replies)

I think his use of the orange moron's tweeting style is perfect. Trump will see just what his own people say to that kind of talk and know how much of an idiot he is, even if he pretends not to care. His own party will have to walk a careful line because it's so similar to what the orange moron actually says.

Tower@lemmy.zip · 14 pts · 353d (3 replies)

I don't think so, because that would require introspection on his part

Tylerdurdon@lemmy.world · 9 pts · 353d (1 reply)

But you see, that's just it. He pretends to be a tough guy, to not care, but if you pay close attention he does. He's weak and sensitive. Look at his mugshot, he was crying. Look at how he reacts when he's challenged... Over the top blustering to cover. What Newsom is doing will get deep under his skin because he cannot help being a moron and putting up a tough guy act.

protist@mander.xyz · 14 pts · 353d

Honestly, you don't have to play close attention. The guy is a blatant narcissist, which means his ego is incredibly fragile and every second of his life is just him protecting it from damage. This unfortunately makes him really predictable and easily manipulated by whoever last talked to him.

Tollana1234567@lemmy.today · 3 pts · 353d

if only they know what the word introspection means.

MedicPigBabySaver@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 353d

Release the Trump/Epstein files

phoenixz@lemmy.ca · 7 pts · 352d

Is this real? Please tell me this is real. With all the shit going on, at least we can have a laugh

Find somewhere more qualified for your news source. "Libs" aren't a party. But they're a boogeyman scary enough for snowflakes like you!

TachyonTele@piefed.social · 8 pts · 353d

I love how you're angry at a meme lmao
