I've created a timetable to structure my days between gym, applications and increasing my IT knowledge with some time aside for music and gaming on weekends.
I am so, so fucking glad I am not on suboxone right now. The difference in mindset is night and day.
Got back down the beach last night. Needed the break (again). Ol' girl is heading to the dietitian today had to reel out all the shit that's going into the soup she eats to ol' boy over the phone.. He got a bit frustrated as it's a fair list lol.
Still seems like I've only managed to keep her weight stable (or not dropping as quickly). Taken way too long to get even just to here which is very concerning. The only thing I can control is what goes in the soup. Can't control volume or frequency.
But...
Resident magpie has been bribed โ๏ธ
Oxalis is looking dead af โ๏ธlittle bit more to go but so far so good.
Council or whoever has lopped a bunch of things that were too close to wires so a nice surprise on the nature strip for extra mulch.
So little bit of wfh today then grinding up wood (which is actually very relaxing given how violent the mulcher is).
I've cut down on bread, cigarettes, cappuccinos. Snacking is non existing except for fruit, nuts and cheese on the rare occasion. Sleep, energy and motivation is excellent. I feel on top of the world and I've lost a couple of kgs.๐
I can't cut down on ciggies or cappuccinos as I don't have them, but I do have bread and I do have 2 oat milk coffees a day. I snack too much. My vertigo hasn't come back since I did special exercises a few years ago. Sleep is shot. Motivation is very very strong but I'm tired, am fighting depressive states and the zeitgeist.
The side door of my van froze shut! It sucks having to defrost before you can go home (night shift). I've scraped the windscreen and dumped a few bottles of water over the ice and the water is refreezing.
First hairdressers appointment in 4 and a half years booked for tomorrow... and I've come down with a cold. I feel bad for postponing, but I'd feel worse if the hairdresser got sick.
I still sometimes chuckle remembering the lines around the corner when the rona hairdresser restrictions lifted. The one near me was easily a hundred metres or so for a few days in a row. Wasn't so funny for the hairdressers though.
My office is full of dark, dark moods today. Fair few tempers on edge, feels like something is brewing. The keeners today will probably be told to fuck off. Hopefully it all blows over and is back to normal tomorrow!
Mulch almost done. Probably wasn't worth the time being honest, better off just ordering it in. The real bugger was cutting it and trying to stuff it in the mulcher. Satisfying though. All up that gave maybe 2 - 2.5m^3. It did smell nice. Guess the other thing is that I know what's in it. Big block so I'm thinking I need another 8-10m^3 minimum.
I think knowing what's in it has more value than you realise, remember the playground asbestos scare? I love not having to chop it down for the green bin which feels like such a waste of time and hurts my hands.
ooh I remember the asbestos thing. Yea I think you're right. The landscaper who did the place maybe 8 yrs ago brought in a whole lot crappy soil / mulch and created a nightmare. When the soil tests came back it was wild. Took so long to get back under control.

Look at it this way, even maintaining a stable weight when someone doesnโt want to eat is an achievement.

Tuesday's at work shit me.
Mondays people tend to work slower and get in gear for the week.
Friday's are (should be) wrap up days and cruise towards the weekend.
Thursday is 'tired' day. Not quite Friday but the week has worn people down. Still a bit of work, but energy levels are depleted to a certain extent.
Wednesday is hump day. Halfway through, tasks are completed,.others are starting. Busy, but with purpose.
On Tuesdays everyone is in a rush for some reason. Or keen to do shit. Don't be keen, no one likes that.
Today is a day full of keeners.
SpinMeAround@aussie.zone · 5 pts · 1y
My office is full of dark, dark moods today. Fair few tempers on edge, feels like something is brewing. The keeners today will probably be told to fuck off. Hopefully it all blows over and is back to normal tomorrow!
