Meanwhile, 50-100k Palestinian civilians had been slaughtered. Why is it fucking breaking news that a tiny few soldiers have been soldiered while participating in a genocide? That's literally their job. Being killed in the name of the gestapo in chief.

Why hate on people sharing positive news?

If Gaza didn't resist, it would not have to be like this!!1!
Let's ignore the last 80 years of it being like this.

I mean it's not breaking news but, like all colonial warfare, it's much harder for the Palestinian resistance to get kills on the IDF than vice versa, so this is newsworthy in the same way minor developments in the Ukraine war are newsworthy.

In other news, four innocent nazis experienced a brutal terror attack while peacefully raiding the Warsaw ghetto.

How is this breaking? They're in a war against mostly unarmed civilians. The shocking part is that .01% are actually facing consequences? "Breaking: 4 Russian soldiers missing" can someone tell me why one is a breaking news story while the other wouldn't even be mentioned other than the weekly update on Russian losses?

Israel lying like always. They always minimize their casualities numbers
P00ptart@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 355d
Oh I don't doubt how low their losses are because they're mostly fighting unarmed civilians, often while just trying to get something to eat.

Listen, those journalists just happened to all be standing near a camera that was definitely Hamas
mrdown@lemmy.world · -1 pts · 355d
You are underestimating hamas and guerilla warfare. They lied about the number of killed hamas fighter. Why would they notclie about their own casualities?
P00ptart@lemmy.world · 0 pts · 355d
I'm not underestimating Hamas or guerilla warfare. I was in Baghdad in 2005 for "the surge".

I would argue thst hamas is better than iraqi resistant , i would argue that they are more comparable to vietcong and that us army was a lot more competant than the diaper army

It's like how people are getting excited about Gavin Newsom's dank memes.
When the opposition is winning in every aspect, even a minor piece of opposition becomes remarkable.

Their death is not confirmed. Hamas has been trying to expand their captive list for a while and it is looking like they might have finally succeeded.

Do have anything smaller?
jimjam5@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 355d
Idk if it’s in stock but maybe a violin the size of an electron?
But we might want to save that particular violin for the day the orange turd dies.
Apocalypteroid@lemmy.org · 1 pts · 355d
I think we'd need to go so far into the subatomic realm for an appropriate violin that even antman would struggle to find it.

Someone get me the world's smallest violin.
