The most use I get out of it is that it's good at telling me what an application is capable of doing, so when I'm trying to solve a problem it can explain options to me that I didn't know about beforehand, and then direct me to self-training materials. That's what I use it for the most, at least.
My employer has Copilot, but the conversations about when and where we use it are always measured and we always weigh the time gained vs the time that would need to be spent validating the output. It is useful at times, like today, when I wanted to pull 200 footnotes out of a word document and into an excel sheet. I'm still going to have to check every line item, but validating will take less time than doing the work manually.
I also work in the legal industry, so just whipping things up via sloppification isn't realistic since screwing up has massive implications for the firm and the client.
Honestly hoping that people who try to take jobs away from the vast plurality of entertainment workers for their own fucking greed fall flat on their face. We don't want your AI slop, motherfuckers.
I know that, eventually, one of these pieces of shit is going to blow the whistle and rat out ICE and Donald for these torture policies, but I wish they'd grow a fucking conscience and do it sooner.
The Dems will never change or yield any power, and have shown over and over again they'd rather yield to fascists than progressives, because that's where their bread is buttered by the billionaire Epstein Class.
That's why it's so pleasing to see it taken away by force.
I understand that 'Guilt By Association' is kind of a sticky concept, but it's been a recurring theme in recent years where these public and mass shootings perpetrated by minors seem to have been directly preventable absent parental negligence or implicit support. For that reason, I'm glad to see the law beginning to recognize the problem and act.
To me, this is no different than an adult giving booze or drugs to minors, just significantly more catastrophic.
Sounds very Enron.
Enron hid much of its debt by calling it 'preferred shares' issued to creditors, just straight up lying.
Jesus Christ, I wish Donald had been lucid when the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs told him not to start this war.
Yup, we don't like it much either. :)

YES.
That's glorious. My city, Kansas City, is looking into doing something similar for one of our streets here, and I'm all for it.
I feel personally attacked.
Oh hell yeah. I'll check those out.
If nothing else, I always enjoy learning something new.

Minnesota, Arizona, and now New York.
It pleases me to no end watching state governments push back against these predatory gambling websites.
Thank you!
Awful. Just fucking awful.

LOL
I love watching Democrats eat each other alive over the rise of DSA's. Good. The Democrats need an insurgency.
Should have kept David Hogg around.
It's a good start.
Pisses me off that laws are required for this, but that's what we get for being ruled by the Epstein Class.
Sharon is a Grand Dame if ever I saw one. What a perfect little baby.
That'll happen when your product sucks. We didn't want slop, bots, and heavy-handed moderation.
You roll in different lanes than I. (And that's okay.)
A really cool story both in terms of tech and humanity, especially if you're a history nerd like me.
