Woah.

Hey, like, that's not "we're just having fun joke haha" stuff.

That's enemy for life shit.

Valmond@lemmy.world · 37 pts · 325d (5 replies)

Could have taken the plastic circle with the small wheels instead ...

smuuthbrane@sh.itjust.works · 10 pts · 325d (2 replies)

This guy gets it.

NatakuNox@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 325d (1 reply)

Are we not doing upper decker anymore?

smuuthbrane@sh.itjust.works · 2 pts · 324d

Were we ever really doing upper deckers, honestly?

GreenShimada@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 324d (1 reply)

nah, not the same. You can still set small stuff in there and it might still turn. Taking the plate makes anything you set in there all uneven.

Valmond@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 324d

So you keep it that way for years...

JayDee@lemmy.sdf.org · 13 pts · 325d (1 reply)

I'd forgive if it were returned. It's one of those 'you're my enemy until that plate gets put back in my microwave' type-shit for me.

Return-the-slab-type shit.

It's one of those act like you don't notice, then put mens nair in their conditioner bottle so they don't understand why they are slowly losing all their hair. /s

smuuthbrane@sh.itjust.works · 30 pts · 325d (1 reply)

You overplayed it. You should have taken the plastic wheel bearing thing underneath the glass.

peetabix@sh.itjust.works · 4 pts · 324d

Calm down there Satan.

“Huh. Replacement microwave turntable, 21 bucks with free overnight shipping? Guess I’m trying out that new Vietnamese joint tonight.” (whistles merrily)

UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world · 12 pts · 325d

Every time this joke is posted, it gets funnier

Catoblepas@piefed.blahaj.zone · 6 pts · 325d (7 replies)

I once worked at a store that had a microwave that didn’t have a turntable. It wasn’t even the oldest piece of electronic equipment in the place.

Eiri@lemmy.ca · 6 pts · 325d (2 replies)

Microwaves designed for public use often don't have them. I never really knew whether it's because they don't need them because they have more magnetrons or something, or just because they prioritize easy cleaning.

Tetsuo@jlai.lu · 6 pts · 325d (1 reply)

Do you think this public microwave has a turntable ?

It looks like it's hard to clean.

Rivalarrival@lemmy.today · 3 pts · 325d

I'm going to start putting those signs on public microwaves...

LifeOfChance@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 325d (3 replies)

Thats actually still a thing in the modern age. My friends have one like that. They got theirs new last year. Its also massive.

ayyy@sh.itjust.works · 4 pts · 325d

Moving magnetrons are a thing these days.

Catoblepas@piefed.blahaj.zone · 3 pts · 325d (1 reply)

Was it any cheaper than a regular one?

Anivia@feddit.org · 2 pts · 325d

No, they are more expensive, but it's worth it because they are much better

hOrni@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 325d (3 replies)

A new one costs like 6 bucks.

gigachad@piefed.social · 3 pts · 324d (2 replies)

But where do you find the right one fitting into your microwave

hOrni@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 324d (1 reply)

Everywhere. Most of them are the same.

Jiggle_Physics@sh.itjust.works · 1 pts · 324d

Yeah had to replace mine, found out they have standard sizes based on the size of cooking space in your model of microwave
