Keep in mind these batteries were initially designed for the european market where plug in solar is legal and regulated. Power outages are extremely rare in Europe. I've personally never experienced a single power outage in my life here in Germany.

These batteries don't allow you to provide your house with backup power, because no one in Europe cares about that and wants to spend thousands extra for a setup that would allow backup power to the house.

There is only so much you can do to achieve that. If temperatures are in the upper 30s for an entire week. You can't keep the heat out forever

I was gonna argue that to avoid ruining a non-stick pan you don't have to restrict what you're cooking, and how you're cooking it.

But then I remembered you can't heat up non-stick pans hot enough to sear a steak without ruining them and inhaling toxic teflon fumes

People looked at the source code. Presumably because of you tried to post something that's blocked you just got an indescriptive error message, and they were trying to fix the "error" themselves

Yeah, the disgusting food from my grandparents (and to some extent my parents) must at least partially be to blame for me becoming a picky eater. Which is a really difficult thing to unlearn

Something being the norm and something being good are two different pairs of shoes, that's not hard to grasp, right? Or should we go back to having slavery since that used to be the norm?
