That's crazy! I was gonna say "blue, but I guess green makes sense too", and honestly I only think less of green in this case because it appears to be smaller.
When I was in school, I always used green for math, blue for French, purple for science, red for English, and orange for social studies. I don't know why I chose those colours, or why I still remember them after 20 years.

Green is my first thought, but blue would be acceptable.

Blue is the only acceptable answer as far as my Trekkie ass is concerned. Green? Go back to Botany where you belong

Botany is science
In my headcannon blue is math or physics

Your head cannon is wrong. You're wrong. You're all wrong! Degenerates! The lot of you!

General science? It's gonna be blue
But bio is green, physics is yellow, and Chem is blue
And of course math is red
Uiop@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 1 pts · 336d
I agree, though I do not know what should ever go into "science"
perhaps i would do Physics blue and yellow for information science (from transistors to coding to the web)
bizarroland@lemmy.world · 10 pts · 336d
It depends on what kind of science you're doing.
Earth sciences would be green, whereas chemistry would be blue. It's entirely situational. High energy electricity? that's purple. Lasers? red.
It's entirely situational.
outhouseperilous@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 3 pts · 336d
No, earth sciences are brown/orange. Biology is green.
bizarroland@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 336d
Good point. Agreed. I think I didn't even think of it because Brown wasn't an option in the given colors.

Science is green, sometimes yellow but never blue. Blue is for history and social studies. Red is for math. Purple is language arts.

Perhaps you're just not able to grasp the pattern. Maybe you should pop some Tylenol.

My Star Trek ass outright refuses to label science any color other than blue. I follow Uniform Regulations, dammit.

Science outfits and lighting are blue. We are discussing binders.

I feel this hard to agree to.
pinball_wizard@lemmy.zip · 1 pts · 336d
It's a trap!
(But I approve whole-heartedly!)
outhouseperilous@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 1 pts · 336d
Physics is blue though!
SayJess@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 7 pts · 337d
Nonsense. Every subject is purple. Because.

Because my parents couldn’t/wouldn’t afford multiple folders, so I had to make do with one.

Pyr_Pressure@lemmy.ca · 4 pts · 336d
What kind of science?
Wizard_Pope@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 337d
Uhhhhhhhhhh.... None of those.
Each subject had a separate notebook. Usually more than one because the first one ran out.

Depends when your science course is. 1st period red, 2nd orange, 3rd yellow etc.
