Next they’ll say that women wearing pads of any kind (bra, shoulder, whatever else), heels, and does anything to style their hair is sexual assault. Maybe wearing jewelry or dressing up in nice clothes counts too? Or deodorant, perfume, body lotions?

Ooooh. This is the “barefoot and pregnant” trope from back in the day, just made to look nicer (kinda like a “makeup” of sorts to appear different).

You should really watch Tim Travers and the Time Traveller’s Paradox.

It’s only weird when you correlate “great” with only being a good thing. In and of itself , “great” is neither good nor bad. It simply describes a thing as more than average or normal.

e.g. The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were both great tragedies. They were also very bad things.

e.g. Having a calm and rational discussion on the Internet is a great idea. It is also positive and reaffirming.

Both my kids (13 and 11) aren’t fans of reading, but there are some books they can’t put down (One Piece and Jujutsu Kaizen manga). And honestly, I’m all for it if it gets them excited about reading and not glued to their screens.

I even read the books once they are done with them. It’s kinda like a little book club. 🤷‍♂️

My only complaint is that the selection at the library is thin and incomplete.

There is no one-size-fits-all answer really. Though I have seen different websites say that 180+ is dangerously high for our age group.

As always, talk to a doctor about this. They will be able to give you a definitive answer.

In the meantime, my anecdotal arm-chair advice is this: if it’s concerning to you, don’t do it.

Or to put it another way: if you have to ask, then I think you know your answer.

And I mean both of those sincerely and not sarcastically.

Best of luck!
