I think in Illinois and Chicago there may be laws which restrict that right.
I'm not familiar with their anti-2a laws but I know in my area of WA they could go after them for being in a populated, public or "protected" area like near a bus stop or federal building.

We need the ACLU to start suing and fighting for false imprisonment for this shit.
They lock people up on bullshit, knowing charges won't stick. Because the detainment till sentencing is used to limit political action.
This shit is a huge fucking deal and one of the things people were told was why holding their nose for Biden was worthwhile, but he ignored it because he liked abusing it for thing like Palestine supporters
