Pink Floyd - Echoes.

For when you want half an hour of one song

Welp, time to mainline this song again

The Dripping Tap by King Gizzard has been my 20+min song lately

Zoomboingding@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 326d

I've been binging their earlier discography lately. Nonagon, Mind Fuzz, Murder of the Universe, Paper Mache. Plus the excellent Muder of the Nonagon Fuzz has been my exercise jam for years.

Great song, but I think Shine on you Crazy Diamond edges it out

My hot take is that the “whale sounds” part of that song is the best part of the song.

I love the whole song, but that part is my favourite.

Billy the Mountain

I spent a summer delivering pizzas high out of my mind listening to this on repeat

I have a playlist on Tidal of metal songs that help me focus called "Work". When it hits the fan at work and I have to really focus i put it on and let it play song after song until one really clicks and then I hit repeat and will listen to that song over and over.

How many of these memes do you vibe hard with?

knowone@slrpnk.net · 1 pts · 326d

Pretty sure most people do this to some extent. But I think we do it more so than most, from what I can tell. Either way, why not repeat some good shit that we vibe to? Life's too short not to often listen to the same stuff over and over

Right now it's Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen.

Still a lot better than my Crazy Bitch phase...

I was having a nice morning. Now this is going to be stuck in my head for the next week. Damnit.

As payback: you lost the game

Security - Amyl and the Sniffers

Was listening to that album earlier today for the first time after having it on my incredibly long list of music I haven't listened to yet that grows far quicker than I can get through it. Banger track amongst many others

Goodbye horses. I'm flying over you.

Oh. Oh, oh-oh

ZombiFrancis@sh.itjust.works · 1 pts · 326d

It's a hell of a high note.

Some songs work better for this than others. My first realization of this was the scene from Night Shift, where he has The Rolling Stones' "Jumping Jack Flash" on a looped cassette in his car.
