I'm actually thinking of quitting my job and starting a brewery. I don't want to work for this system any more. I just want to make beers, sell them to my neighbors and not worry about performance reviews, job interviews, endless meetings and other idiotic things society has created.

If you can make it work financially, I’d say go for it! My personal dream is to quit my job for exactly the same reason, and start science education farm where I can raise goats and do agrivoltaics

That sounds amazing. it's weird. 100 years ago, people might have fantasized about moving into the suburbs of a city, getting a square job and living the middle class life. now we fantasize about moving away from that capitalist lie we've been force fed and live a simple life working for ourselves.

Actually sounds great, I could see myself doing that at some point

I am so poisoned by Linux that I automatically read it as guh-nome. Thanks, Lemmy

Where is the penis stealing?

I was told it comes with the territory of being a gnome.

Riding a goose to work is not compatible with the solarpunk values of anti-speciesism and animal liberation.
