Keyboard… fix the fucking keyboard.

Update: update didn’t fix the keyboard. It seems slightly better, more in the sense that it’s like it’s learning all over again.

What’s the problem with it? It doesn’t seem very different to me. Is it the rounded corners?

For me it often makes some weird animation when I start typing. It still captures what I'm writing but the whole keyboard vanishes and comes back.

And for all languages please, not just English

They won't.

I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max (2024) and a Galaxy S10 (2019... also hasn't seen an OS update in like 3-4 years... and I've checked). Guess which one has the better keyboard? Yep, it's the S10, specifically Gboard.

This is a solved problem. Apple just refuses to fix it.

Atm I’m rocking an iPhone 6s and the autocorrect is perfect. I have no clue what they did but they had it working perfectly

Hopefully there are some performance improvements.

Please there be a battery life improvement. My phone barely lasts a day any more.

Did that start recently for you, too? I used to come home with 60% battery on my 15 Pro Max and now I’m at 30% with the same daily usage.

It’s been since the new iOS release

Looking forward to a swipe on the alarm instead of a button. I’ve gotten used to hitting that in my sleep, so hopefully this helps.

Even better would be to allow us to have a randomizer that randomly switches between those, if we choose to enable on a per alarm basis. And also adds new ones like a pattern toggle.

Feels weird that the thing I’m looking forward to most is left alignment for a bunch of currently center-aligned text. I’m not sure when I started to hate center alignment, but I’m always happy to watch it die.
