I’m just surprised that the shelves lasted long enough that the board went first. I picked up two used - LG and Samsung - and the plastic shelves in both were well on their way to falling apart.
If you spent nearly double the cost of a regular fridge on one with a screen, chances are it’s not a significant hardship. The screens will go EOL soon enough anyways.
Could depend on the ISP. Att's newish fiber gateway bg320 bypasses pihole for DNS lookups on WiFi devices. Even if you use your own wireless access point.

Don't buy any Samsung appliances. They will if course put ads in them, but also the quality is garbage.

I wonder if a pi-hole would work on these? Replacing your refrigerator is not a small thing for most people.

Mine are metal brackets with tempered glass shelves. So I guess it could be worse lol.
Still, the only reason I have a Samsung fridge at all is because it came with the house.
