Good fucking riddance. She is a big fucking part of how we got where we are today.

I wish Nancy Pelosi only the best in private life, but let this be the final time we utter her name.

wizblizz@lemmy.world · 13 pts · 302d

Good riddance, all her grifted insider-traded capital gains should be taken away and distributed to taxpayers.

KurtVonnegut@mander.xyz · 13 pts · 302d

Thank fucking god.

The economic outlook is so bleak that even people who can take advantage of insider trading are getting out.

blave@lemmy.world · 10 pts · 302d

Fuck right the fuck off

I don't think anyone is upset by this and I am confident the people of california can bring us someone great for congress. I am a bit worried though as I know in illinois a congressman just bowed out post deadline for people to register for the primaries which if he had done before would have resulted in a much bigger field.

People whose investment strategy was "copy whatever Pelosi does".

grue@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 302d

That's a dumb strategy. The disclosures come waaay after-the-fact, when it's too late to get the same insider-trading advantage.

We still have the rest of Congress to emulate.
