Wait, you mean, anywhere? Look at every coup, every deposed dictator (e.g. Ceaușescu, Gaddafi). Around the world there are countless stories of politicians who are imprisoned for embezzling or other corruption. That's a pretty common thing all over.
Now, yes there are a ton who commit crimes in office and we just don't know about it or they're never prosecuted, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

it's almost as if the president we have is absent and inept that his cabinet is running the country so poorly.
I guess all these problems we're having aren't Trump's fault. After all, he's just a weak minded pawn, there's no way he's coherent or intelligent enough to orchestrate all these crimes.
