Don't forget Gerald Ford and Richard Nixon.
Ford pardoning Nixon was a miscarriage of justice and additionally, he shouldn't have been able to in the first place.
Nixon for undermining the democracy (albeit more accurately a bourgeoise oligarchy), paving the way for antidemocratic downfall.

Jimmy Carter was simultaneously too weak to fight back against Reagan and yet he was strong enough to pave the way for Reagan, he was the first neoliberal president and the true root of Americas ills today.
