It'd would prevent the elderly from locking in far reaching, irreversible destruction to the environment because they either don't understand the damage they're doing to future generations. Either that or they don't care, which is highly likely.

We can solve most of the political problems in western countries with one simple change: an upper age limit on voting.

If under 18's can't vote, why can those over 70? Having worked in residential Aged Care (Australia), I know the oldies are all still voting and they're voting conservative.

I bought ny eldest a decent Lenovo laptop, but when the power port started playing up it required a full replacement motherboard to fix.

I bought Framework 13's for the eldest 2, and will buy another this year for the next one.

Later in high school when we got computers, someone discovered that if you shuffle your feet on the carpet to build up static then touched the lock (remember when computers came with a set of keys?!) the computer would reset.

"It's not my fault Miss, the computer has reset! Can you help?". (This particular teacher was young, attractive, and sometimes didn't wear a bra).

I had a typing class in early high school on a regular old typewriter. We had computers, but not enough for a whole class to learn typing.

UK Police: Look, we acknowledge we arrested a murder victim as they were dying, but have you considered how sad that made our officers? This totally ruined their weekend and killed the vibe around the station.
