Fascism causes problems and claims they're solving them, while capitalism causes fascism.
But out of the ashes of capitalism, we shall rebuild liberated socialism and communism - by council and by the commoner!
have you ever had a day where you just feel like when you're happy, it's not a 'true, genuine happiness'? A veil over your deeper mood, to hide what you truly feel?
know how happiness feels like a flame in the heart lifting you up with joy, and depression is like the feeling being gradually sucked away out of your heart, to your lower limbs, down, feeling apathetic?
likewise, watching in the mirror pre-passing for me felt like a mix of cold indifference, apathy and grumpiness, below the veil of whatever you appeared to feel. you can feel 'happy', 'sad', 'meh', whatever... but it doesn't quite feel right. seeing your body feel 'off', like the deeper feel that you realise you entered the wrong bathroom*; a sinking and ebbing turmoil of dread and indifference.
a bathroom break rant
* imho, there is no 'wrong' bathroom, as i find the idea of segregating restroom needs by gender to be silly. everyone needs to go. just install period bins in all of them, replace the signs with 'toilet' and done. all of them should have stalls for privacy. same with changing rooms, really.
also, some people don't take HRT, others only have GAS, others mostly focus on clothes and the like. it's all valid.
what does euphoria feel like?
But, after you start passing, taking HRT, had GAS, taking on the right clothes (be that with a few adjustments like laser, tucking, or packing) ... the happiness is indescribable.
The emotional ectasy you feel when you fall in love, the 'kick' you get for doing an exciting activity (like a rollercoaster) the first time in your life, the feeling of a great massage that rejuvenates your body, the warmth of a good shower - that is similar. It feels like you are finally all warm and calm inside, as if the veil of greyness folds itself away for the clarity of colour for the first time, and lifts your breast up. It feels like you breathe again, and can now cry in happiness because of it.
and after that first good tsunami of feelings, even then, it still feels like you have healed more. as if you know it'll all be better after that, finally going into the right direction.
hope that all helps understand it!
another anecdote from me
when i first started taking HRT, i just cried. i felt like overjoyed and felt a big surge of relief. once I started passing six months in, i began taking more pictures of myself. pre hrt, I took less than ten dozen pictures of myself in total. after that? 700. I feel so much better now that I feel freed, to express myself as I want.
the only two things i'd personally still want are GAS (soon!) and a uterus transplant to bear a child, but other than that, I feel happy.
terminology:
HRT = hormone replacement therapy; where you take hormones to change your body altogether.
GAS = gender-affirming surgery. more commonly known as SRS (sex reassignment surgery).
pass = to convincingly feel as the desired gender in terms of appearance
tucking = the practice of hiding your dick by 'tucking' it into your body.
packing = the practice of making a dick apparent by 'packing' stuff down there
Not just Pixels, soon they'll also support Motorola.
One major thing withholding me from buying one is that I find it difficult to reconcile privacy with that company, considering it's US-based (and thus subject to the CLOUD Act) and Chinese-owned (thus making me wonder whether the Chinese government can affect it).
Currently, I trust China more than the US government, but neither is great. The EU is comparatively more reliable, and the Nordics even more. I'd prefer a Fairphone with iPhone/GOS level of security.
It's more of a thought experiment as sadly I have no experience with making a store, but I would personally be inclined to categorise them by product first, and label each of them on the shelf.
I'd not go for where it is founded, rather focusing on the supply chain.
I feel like these are most relevant, in no particular order:
a. Owned by Europe (parent company is especially important)
b. Manufactured in Europe
c. Based/Hosted in Europe
I'm not sure which one is more significant. Motorola for example is US-based but owned by a Chinese company, so ultimately, who has more influence on their products?
'Europe' here denotes EU & Schengen, although I'd probably be inclined to include other European countries as well if they have a good human rights' record.
If there's a lot of choice, I'd prioritise worker-owned cooperatives and those companies/countries with good labour rights and social progress.
That said, people will be drawn more easily to European products, I feel, if it is also more affordable, so perhaps a membership could be included that gives you a discount. But that's something most companies have anyways.
Also AnarWiki and ProleWiki (tho the latter is ML).
I don't encounter it much but that's probably bc Blåhaj has a good block list. I harden it a bit with my own custom blocks, though, using keywords.
Isn't that a hatchback? Hatchbacks often can have the luggage space fold out to make space for extra seats.
A van's moreso for businsss, a hatchback is better for family imo. Or sedan if you don't have a lot of luggage needs.
On the other hand, Piefed also has a bit of a weird social credit system that I'm not a fan of.
Or better yet, companies should break up when they're close to getting too big.
no problems! if you've more questions, feel free to ask away, however strange and/or odd!

Are there privacy concerns with this?
I'm like the opposite, my bases are decently prepared but i have a crippling lack of resources

mommy? mommy? mom? mommy? i need to have these boobs
Honestly, it'd be nice if Fairphone had better security. If that were the case I think there's not much of a question what to pick.
I recall Finnster having done something similar, happened about halfway in?
Sterling if I'm not mistaken wrote a blog about her experiences, no?

Just walk under it bro, it's not like there's some 11 ft 8 inch bridge. /s

I'll defer to the Jacobins in the French revolution.
