Ferumi Kaipa formerly Zumi Dokumi of EIEN Project (public knowledge) is suspected to be one of the new talents (or was at the very least invited to audition before the public audition announcement).

Both this and the other comment donāt say anything for sure, but itās been a while since Justice debuted so it could definitely happen.
Iām always very conflicted about new gens, on one hand more people makes Holo even harder to follow (which is a very minor downside in the grand scheme but I still end up thinking that lol), on the other they always recruit great talents and Iām happy theyāve been given their chance to shine. Overall, the current pace is good, as long as we donāt get into Nijisanji-level of spamming gens itās fine.

100% agree on the point that more talents isn't necessarily better. I would prefer holoEN doesn't get much larger, but realistically they need to keep scouting talents and taking auditions in order to account for talents that inevitability graduate. I just don't want anyone to feel like they are being replaced, pushed out, or made irrelevant.

At one point during Biboo's Pokemon Legends Z-A stream
towards the end when she is talking with Cece (timestamp pending), she receives a DM that causes her to gasp and get excited. Cece asks what that was about and Biboo says something along the lines of: she received great news that she can't reveal now. When Cece asks if it's something that she knows about, Biboo says no. (This is only from my memory, I can't find the moment right now. It wasn't clipped, and perhaps it was cut out from the VOD afterwards for secrecy's sake. Cece joined the stream sometime after 10:30:00)My speculation is that Biboo was informed that someone she knows/recommended was accepted into hololive, likely via a DM from that individual. I don't know anything about Biboo's past pre-holo, but I guess that it would be someone she has interacted with before. I don't know if past-life info is allowed to be discussed here (is it "doxxing"?)

Without directly revealing Biboo's past-life account (because I don't know if that's allowed here), here are some of my guesses for the new holoEN generation based on proximity to Biboo's past-life (assuming I'm correct in my speculation that Biboo received news that someone she knows passed the audition):

Thereās been a post with some past life discussions about a year ago and itās still up, so I guess thatās allowed (?) at least in regards to stuff thatās still public, maybe not for ones that deleted everything (which is not Bibooās case).

I don't care anymore to finding out PLs and stuff. Like I really don't care to go out of my way to find out or would get bent put of shape if I know. I'll just play along depending on situation.
Some still might care for the kayfabe, and I think respecting that is good and isn't going to kill anybody

I personally doubt anyone would care unless weāre talking real names/faces (and thereās very few who still have that up), but I guess it wouldnāt hurt, yeah.
How to do that here, though? I donāt think we have the āblack barā style in the text editor, at most we could put the whole comment/paragraph under spoiler, but does that universally work in every Fedi frontend? Iirc stuff like breakthrough text rendered differently on some of those.

Hmm, good point on the spoiler tag thing. What I will do though is I'll just say at the top of a post it's going to be PL talk and spoiler it I suppose. If anyone that prefers not to read about it, it's their fault then š
