The Republicans think he looks like a bad mother fucker, a political martyr, simultaneously Jesse James and Robin Ford, a Churchill that will fight till the bitter end and a Spartacus up against the corrupt elites.
The rest of us think he looks like a pathetic moron on his way to prison.
When I first saw it, I could not help but laugh. It's so clearly a guy who looks shaken, hoping he looks 'tough'. And, his eyes are red, so I assume he was crying just before the shot.
It's okay, Jesse, you can open up that closet door and come out when you're ready. Nobody whose opinion is worth a damn will think any less of you for that specific aspect of who you are.
He's doing the Kubrick stare which shows that the character has reached peak derangement. I'll hand it to Trump, though, he's a natural at looking deranged. It's like he's had a lot of practice or something.
